How to Use
- Test and prepare: Test the spa water and follow the product directions for balancing. The spa care guide recommends testing at least twice a week.
- Add Gentle Spa when filling: For first use, add 6 oz per 200 gallons with the system operating. The directions say this initial dose usually lasts from drain to refill. If topping up more than twice between drain and refill, add 2 oz per 200 gallons monthly.
- Add Metal Magic: For start-up and weekly care, add 1 oz per 100 gallons with circulation on. For fresh stains or scale, clean the filter, balance the water, add 2–3 oz per 100 gallons and circulate for at least 1 hour; temporary cloudiness may occur.
- Balance, sanitize and shock: Balance the water, then add sanitizer and shock as directed by their labels. These products are not included in the kit. The care guide says to wait at least 15 minutes between products.
- Use the maintenance products as needed: For Sky Blue Clarifier, run the pump and add 1 oz per 100 gallons; clean the filter after 24 hours. For foam, shake Foam Fighter and pour a small amount directly on the foam. For pH products, follow their dose ranges, circulate 15–30 minutes and retest.
