Compatibility and Requirements
The FROG @ease Floating System for Swim Spas is for swim spas up to 3,000 gallons. It is not the same as the standard FROG @ease floating system for hot tubs up to 600 gallons, and the two systems should not be treated as interchangeable.
For best performance, swim spa water should be balanced before use. Recommended operating ranges include pH from 7.2 to 7.6, total alkalinity from 80 to 120 ppm, total hardness from 150 to 250 ppm, total dissolved solids below 1,500, and cyanuric acid from 0 to 50 ppm.
If the swim spa was previously sanitized with bromine or biguanides, drain and refill before starting FROG @ease. If switching from dichlor, make sure cyanuric acid is below the required threshold before converting to the system.
