BioGuard Back Up 2 is designed for swimming pool algae prevention and works as part of the BioGuard Care System. It should not be used in pools with attached spas, fountains, waterfalls, or intricate water features.

Before applying, make sure pool equipment is operating properly, clean or backwash the filter if needed, and balance the water. Apply directly to the pool with the pump and filter running.

How to Use BioGuard Back Up 2

For Initial Application

1. Make sure pool water is balanced and the circulation system is running.

2. Add 6 fl oz per 10,000 gallons directly to the pool.

3. Pour around the outside perimeter of the pool for even distribution.

4. Wait at least 15 minutes after application before swimming.

For Weekly Maintenance

1. Add 1.5 fl oz per 10,000 gallons every 5 to 7 days.

2. Apply with the pump and filter running.
