Description
Protect Your Pool From Metal Stains and Discolored Water
BAQUACIL® Metal Control is a strong chelating agent that deactivates dissolved copper, iron and other heavy metals that can affect water clarity. BAQUACIL recommends it on all new pool start-ups and conversions to help prevent stains and discolored water.
One 1¼ lb bottle treats 10,000 gallons for every 2 ppm of metals present.
Stops Metals Before They Stain
Fill water, wells and corroding equipment can introduce copper and iron. Left unchecked, those metals stain surfaces and tint the water. Metal Control binds them up so they stay in solution and out of sight.
A Must for Conversions and Plaster Pools
BAQUACIL calls for Metal Control at every start-up and conversion. All plaster pools need 1 bottle per 10,000 gallons regardless of test results, plus another dose when significant makeup water is added.
Made for BAQUACIL Chemistry
Metal Control is formulated for pools treated with BAQUACIL Sanitizer and Algistat and should not be used with chlorine or bromine sanitizers.
