Description
Concentrated 9.3% Copper That Kills Green and Mustard Algae
Applied Biochemists® Swimtrine® Plus is a highly concentrated, triple-chelated copper algaecide that quickly kills green and mustard algae and, used regularly, prevents all types of algae from coming back.
With 9.3% metallic copper, a preventive dose is just 1.5 fl oz per 10,000 gallons every two weeks, so one bottle stretches a long way.
Kills Green and Mustard Algae
Swimtrine Plus uses chelated copper to kill green and mustard algae fast. For black algae, Applied Biochemists recommends treating with Black Algaetrine first, then returning to Swimtrine Plus for maintenance.
Triple-Chelated Copper Stays Active
The triple-chelated formula keeps copper working between treatments, needs no special balancing to stay effective, and won't foam or clog your filter.
A Little Goes a Long Way
Prevention takes only 1.5 fl oz per 10,000 gallons every two weeks, and visible algae takes 3 fl oz. That concentration is why many pools get a full season from one bottle.
Works With Your Sanitizer
Swimtrine Plus is compatible with bromine, chlorine, salt water, ozone and mineral systems, and there is no waiting to swim after treatment.

Important Compatibility and Safety Notes
Compatibility
Compatible with bromine, chlorine, salt water, ozone and mineral sanitizers. Biguanide compatibility is not stated, so do not use it in biguanide pools without checking with the manufacturer. Always add chemicals to the water separately, never mix concentrated products together, and wait for one product to disperse before adding the next. Copper algaecides can stain if overdosed or used in water that is out of balance, so stick to the label dose.
Safety First
Caution: harmful if swallowed or absorbed through skin. Wear long sleeves, long pants, socks, shoes and gloves, avoid contact with skin and clothing, and wash thoroughly after handling. Toxic to fish and aquatic organisms; check local rules before draining treated water. Keep out of reach of children and pets, and always read and follow the full label directions and precautions on your container.
